PERSONAL MINE LUMINAIRES

Comparison of mine luminaires

Personal mine luminaires T 1005.01A and T 1005.01A M1

Personal mine luminaires T 1005.01A APPLICATION:

The luminaires are approved as personal luminaires of the workers for illumination at the spaces with and explosion risk and they fulfil requirement for the devices classified in the group No. I. Luminaire T1005.01A is approved for M2 category of environment and luminaire T1005.01AM1 is approved for M1 category of environment according to the regulation No. 94/9/ES. The luminaires can be used for workers of all professions in the underground coal mines working in this environment.

They are suitable for utilization even in the most demanding condition of coal mines because of their design. They are made from special plastic materials. NiMh accumulator is used as energy source. LEDs are used as light sources that secure sufficient lighting for the time of 14 hours minimum.

The luminaire control module also contains a device that secures an optimal charging of the accumulator at any operating conditions after the connection to 10 -15 Vss voltage. Head part of the luminaire contains two main and two signal LEDs. The bottom main LED shines so-called “to the point”, it means by narrow beam of light to the big distance, while the upper LED shines so-called “to the area” by a wide beam of light. Red signal LED indicates charging and green signal LED indicates that the luminaire is ready for application completely.

ADVANTAGES:

  • The highest possible operation safety
  • High lighting capacity and long service life of the light sources
  • Unattended and maintenanceless operation
  • Light colour is similar to the colour of daylight
  • Stable light intensity during the whole period of lighting
  • Possibility to install circuits for the luminaire connection to the information system for identification

Personal mine luminaire T 1005.02

Personal mine luminaire T 1005.02 APPLICATION:

The luminaire is certified as worker’s personal luminaire for illumination of areas with an explosion risk and it fulfils the requirements for equipment of class No., M2 category according to the Code No. 23/2003 Coll. They can be used for workers of all professions in the underground coal mines working in this environment.

Personal mine luminaires are suitable for applications in the most demanding conditions of the underground coal mines because of their design. They are made from special plastic materials. NiMh accumulator is used as energy source. LEDs are used as light sources that secure sufficient lighting for the time of 14 hours minimum.

The luminaire control module also contains a device that secures an optimal charging of the accumulator at any operating conditions after the connection to 10-15 Vss voltage. Green signal LED in the head part indicates charging by blinking and readiness of the luminaire for operation by permanent shining. The main LED shines so-called “to the point” and auxiliary LED shines so-called “to the area”.

ADVANTAGES:

  • The highest possible operation safety
  • High lighting capacity and long service life of light sources
  • Unattended and maintenanceless operation
  • Light colour is similar to the colour of daylight
  • Stable light intensity during the whole period of lighting
