System for person identification in mine

Information system for identification

manual of information system for identification

APPLICATION OF IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM:

  • Information system for identification (ISI system) is used for identification and localization of persons, equipment or material in the mine.

  • ISI system is based on RFID technology (868MHz) and it consists of two parts containing several devices – communication cabinet SME-ISI, A71-02 device with RFID scanner, surface switchboard RM1-ISI-P, signalling device OS-ia-6 and identification device TAGZAM (transmitter) – placed in the mine luminaire T 1005.01, T 1005.01A or T 1005.01A M1.

  • Computer intended for the processing, evaluation and visualization of information from A71-02 scanners is also a part of ISI system. SW created for the information system for identification is installed in the PC. This SW has a separate instruction manual.*

  • Scanners A71-2 are in I M1 Ex ia version; it means that they can work in the areas with permanent presence of methane.

  • Communication cabinet SME-ISI is in version I M2(M1) Ex d e [ia] I.

LUMINAIRE INTEGRATION INTO THE INFORMATION SYSTM FOR IDENTIFICATION

Luminaires T 1005.01; T 1005.01A and T 1005.01AM1 can work in ISI. According to the requirement of our customers for work safety improvement and better identification of workers especially in danger zones of coal mines.

Safe and unambiguous identification of the workers that is independent to their will is the main intention of ISI. There is a microwave transmitter in each luminaire, whose signal is received by system of fixed scanners. This system is capable to identify unambiguously luminaire position and in case of necessity also a direction of its movement. The date is transmitted to the communication cabinet by means of telephone cable. The cabinet is interconnected with the computer, which ensures processing, evaluation and display of information from the scanners.

Depending on the range of scanner network the system can be used for monitoring of luminaire movement in the relevant area starting for the luminaire handover from lamp room till its return back to the charging stand. The system can work also in the environment with permanent presence of methane. You can find more detailed information on the system in the ISI instruction manual.
